As women in business, our viewpoint matters – especially in the boardroom! What has prevented you from serving on a local board of directors? Have you served before and fear another dysfunctional board experience? Don’t be deterred from serving! Join us for an informative and interactive session covering topics related to Board Acumen and Decorum. Emily will cover the benefits of serving on a board, board member responsibilities and board culture. Each attendee will also walk away with actionable tips on that most intimidating topic: parliamentary procedure!
Emily E. Rogers is an entrepreneur and Managing Director of First Source Consulting, LLC. Over the past ten years, she has worked as a project consultant and trainer on state and local government contracts providing project management, program support and public outreach services.
