JULY 28 MEETING

Donate, Volunteer, Participate

WHEN: Wednesday, July 28, 5:30 – 7:30 pm

WHERE: Safe Harbor, 2006 Bremo Road, Suite 201, Richmond 23226

Richmond Friends of the Homeless was formed in 1986 to strengthen and enrich the community life of the disadvantaged and homeless in Richmond, Virginia.

Their mission is served by providing a nutritious lunch seven days a week in Richmond’s most impoverished neighborhoods: Blackwell/Bainbridge/Hillside and Jackson Ward/Gilpin Court/Mosby Court are encompassed.

Their goal is the alleviation of hunger in our community, as well as providing numerous much needed services to those living in poverty.

On July 28 River City Express Network members and friends will partner with Richmond Friends of the Homeless to help alleviate hunger in our community. And you can help! Join us to assemble “Go Bags” filled with non-perishable food items. Our goal is to donate 100 or MORE bags to help Richmond Friends of the Homeless.

You can help with cash donations and/or any of these items:

We’re looking forward to a productive and successful event. Spend the evening among friends and Help Richmond Friends of the Homeless make a difference in people’s lives.
