Marianne Lawrence – President
Responsible for raising awareness of and participation in scholarship and grant programs offered locally by RCEN and nationally the national scholarship fund of ABWA. The Committee helps raise funds for donations to the national scholarship fund and RCEN professional development grants to help members attend ABWA conferences. Community Engagement Committee
Cindy Mims – President-Elect
RCEN participates in several community involvement activities throughout the year as a way to give back and be involved in our local community. These projects give our members an opportunity to a) make a contribution, b) interact with one another in a different environment and c) develop new skills. These projects are a benefit to RCEN as they give us an opportunity to attract new members and gain additional exposure in the community. Amy Grieves – VP Programming
VP of Programming is primarily responsible for identifying and securing speakers/facilitators to deliver relevant programming at each of the scheduled meetings. Act as the primary contact and hostess for the speakers, both prior to and at meetings and events, gather required marketing information from speakers and forward to appropriate parties. Mary Maupai – VP Membership
The purpose of the Membership Committee is to retain a strong membership and continually bring in new members to the network. The committee focuses on activities for recruiting new members as well as keeping the current members abreast of RCEN information. Acting as hostesses for the meetings provides a unique opportunity for committee members to network with members and guests as they sign in and pick up their name tags. Marketing & PR Committee
Cheryl Herbert – VP Marketing
The Marketing Committee promotes the network’s meetings, events, and activities to members, guests, and the general public using traditional and social media. Contact VP Marketing, Cheryl Herbert at email@example.com.
Dianna Hayes – VP Resource Development
Programs The Programs Committee plans speakers/programs for monthly meetings and other special events. Committee members gather required marketing information from speakers and forward to appropriate parties and act as the primary contact and hostess for the speakers, both prior to and at meetings and events. Connie Washington – VP Finance
The Finance Committee and the VP of Finance develop an annual budget for the Network and present it to the Board of Directors for final approval. The Committee reviews the budget mid-year and reports findings and recommendations, as appropriate. The Committee manages advance and day-of meeting registrations, accepts payments, and prepares attendance reports.
