Responsible for raising awareness of and participation in scholarship and grant programs offered locally by RCEN and nationally the national scholarship fund of ABWA. The Committee helps raise funds for donations to the national scholarship fund and RCEN professional development grants to help members attend ABWA conferences. Community Engagement Committee

Cindy Mims – President-Elect 

RCEN participates in several community involvement activities throughout the year as a way to give back and be involved in our local community. These projects give our members an opportunity to a) make a contribution, b) interact with one another in a different environment and c) develop new skills. These projects are a benefit to RCEN as they give us an opportunity to attract new members and gain additional exposure in the community. VP of Programming is primarily responsible for identifying and securing speakers/facilitators to deliver relevant programming at each of the scheduled meetings. Finance Committee

Connie Washington – VP Finance

The Finance Committee and the VP of Finance develop an annual budget for the Network and present it to the Board of Directors for final approval. The Committee reviews the budget mid-year and reports findings and recommendations, as appropriate. The Committee manages advance and day-of meeting registrations, accepts payments, and prepares attendance reports.
